3rd Round table “Gender and WSIS”
Association “Equal Opportunities” has organized the 3rd Round table “The World Summit on the Information Society and gender equality”, within the scope of its activities “Gender Equality in the Development of the Information Society” and with full support of Gender Caucus of the World Summit as well as the support of companies: Telekom Srbija, JP PTT Srbija, ZJPTT, Ericsson, Telegroup, Intracom, Veratnet i Eunet. The Round table was held on September 6th 2005 at Hotel Palace, Belgrade.

Project “Info-communication for teachers in rural areas”
Computer training for 190 teachers from rural areas, project supported by Ministry of Education in 2004.
Project “Women’s ICT Trainers Education Centre” one of the 6 finalists
Equal Opportunities project “Women’s ICT Trainers Education Centre” (WEC) was selected as one of the 6 finalists for the Gender and ICT Awards, organized by Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP) at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2003.
Project “Women’s ICT Trainers Education Centre”
As a part of “Training of ICT Trainers” project, “Equal Opportunities” is organizing module “PC Introduction” with the goal to increase the IT literacy of various target groups. This project was selected as one of the 6 finalists for the Gender and ICT Awards 2003. It is supported by ICT private sector (ICT vendors, operators, Internet service providers).
1st Round table “Gender and WSIS”
The Round table with the theme “World Summit on the Information Society and Gender Equality” was held in Hotel Hyatt on October 17th 2003, where 60 to 80 participants from the government, telecommunications operators, service providers, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and suppliers of info-communication equipment took part.

Donation of computers to schools in Serbia, in cooperation with Ericsson Serbia and with support of ICT sector.
Panel discussion “Women and Telecommunications”
In fulfilling the mandate of the ITU Task Force on Gender Issues to encourage gender awareness in the national telecom sector, Ms. Natasa Gospic, General Manager of GSM – MONET and Chairperson of the ITU Task Force on Gender Issues, initiated this panel discussion in conjunction with the Association for Telecommunication Engineers and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering under the sponsorship of the Federal Ministry of Telecommunications.
